Luna Lake Wildlife Area –
wildlife refuge where bald and golden eagles, geese, and swans frequent the lake.

Casa Malpais Indian Ruins –
ancient ruins of a Mogollon Indian tribe located north of Springerville.

Apache County Historical Society –
St. John’s Museum; ancient and historical exhibits dating back to prehistoric times. Open Monday through Friday 9am –
5pm.

Alpine Country Club –
enjoy 18 holes of golf amongst the pines.

Big Lake Recreation Area –
23 miles south of Eager in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest; Big Lake is stocked each Spring and Fall with trout; 3 campgrounds, store, boat rentals, and guided nature walks are available.

 

Little House Museum –
7 miles west of Eager on South Fork Road.

Lyman Lake State Park –
10 miles south of St. John’s; fishing, water sports, hiking trails and a guided petroglyph trail can be enjoyed; campsites and RV hook-ups are available.

Renee Cushman Art Museum –
art and furniture dating from the Renaissance to early 20th century; this museum is located in Eager.

Raven Site Indian Ruins –
a prehistoric pueblo with archeological activity; located between St. John’s and Springerville.

Round Valley Ensphere –
only domed high school football stadium in the country, located in Eager.
